Last month my Dad turned me on to Cremo Cream, the “astonishingly superior shave cream”.

I’ve been using it for a month now and it’s pretty fantastic. Definitely worth checking out next time you’re ready to refill. They are a small company too, so you should feel good supporting them. Oh, and Kennyb, according to their FAQ, you can use it with a bowl & brush, although you don’t have to.

Also, saw a youtube video this weekend about how to rejuvenate your expensive disposable razor blades. Evidently the blades don’t dull so much as bend slightly, which is what causes the shaving quality to decline. By reshaping them you can get many more weeks or even months of usage out of them. I haven’t confirmed or disconfirmed yet, but going to try it.

…is my favorite word of the week. It’s the opposite of euphemism, which means substituting a nice, pleasant phrase to refer to something dirty or inappropriate.

A dysphemism is an intentionally nasty word substituted in place of something otherwise nice and pleasant. Love it!
